As always, Zak, the first port of call who does the eyewear and much else besides, was extremely helpful and reassuring. And he’s right, Shazeena, their optometrist is probably the best I’ve ever had in 30 years. She spent almost an hour checking EVERYTHING, including my monocular vision (a real headache…literally, sometimes), whether I had any problems with glaucoma or retinal detachment, blood pressure in the eyes, etc. and was even superb in advising me on how best to deal with my ‘dry eye’ (paradoxically over-watering, teary eye) problem. And the general eye exam was almost fun….I remember giggling a few times!
Way beyond your usual ‘opticians.’
MOST OF ALL, she did so in an extraordinary caring way. She takes time to Work With You, explain what she is doing, and why, and then to answer any questions you have with great understanding and clarity.

And, oh yes, they have some spectacular frames, but also cater to those who have much less to spend, with very good advice on how to get excellent value for money.
